Would you be astonished by the fact that the viruses are neither considered as alive nor hold the status of a living being despite the capability of infecting millions of people and its potential to kill?
Is it a coincidence that some of the dreadful viral disease outbreaks in the last 20 years such as SARS, MERS, Ebola, Marburg, Nipah, Hendra including the latest COVID-19 are all attributed to the bats??
It is not a random fact that the bats are hypothesized to be the natural reservoir of the above mentioned deadly viruses and are responsible for severe disease outbreaks in humans and other animals.
Would you agree with me if I defend, bacteria are more of a gem and less of a germ; Bacteria keep us healthy most of the time rather than producing disease.
Have we done anything defective to the bacteria that they launch a revenge attack on us? Or is it completely an unprovoked intrusion? Why do bacteria infect humans?
